MoJo Monday #110

The MoJo Monday #110 gave me the perfect opportunity to make a retirement card for a male co-worker. Had to go a bit on the masculine side this time. Friday will be his last day so, good timing! Will have all co-workers sign it before we give it away.

All the paper and stickease are CTMH. It's an old packet, so old that the identifying card that comes in the front of them is gone, can't even tell you what it was called. Ok, I lied, it's on the back of the stickease, lol. It's called Simple Pleasures. The ribbon and brads are generic and the little blue frame is a slide frame from some old slides I've had hanging around for a long time. It was fun putting it together. I really like how it turned out, hope you do to!!!

Pumpkin Pots

I just loved Jeanette Lynton's (CTMH) pumpkin pots that she had on her blog the other day so I tried my hand at them. I think mine are a bit smaller because I had to cut the paper strips down an inch or so to make them look right. The one with the green bow is the first one I made and it looks bigger because I used longer strips of paper. The other two were #2 and #3. They turned out really cute. They were a little tricky to put together. A couple of the strips are crooked. They start to twist as you go along and I wasn't paying attention on the first one. I used glue dots to attach them to the clay pot so where they were stuck the first time, was where they were going to stay. I was a bit more precise with the strips on the second two. She said to attach a baggie to the inside of it first if you were going to use it for edibles so I took a snack baggie and cut the recloseable edge off and then I cut that piece in half. It made like a cone shape and I rounded the corners and it fit in those little clay pots just perfectly. I had fun creating these, hope you enjoy the photos!

MoJo Monday #109

This is my first time trying the MoJo Monday (#109) sketch. All the products I've used on my card are CTMH (Evensong paper pack and December word Puzzle stamp set) except the red ribbon. I even tried the stamp and repeat. The medallion in the center is actually a bottle cap. I have been playing with them lately and wanted to use one on a card and this gave me the perfect opportunity. Here is the link to MoJo Monday blog.

Halloween Favour Boxes

This was my project over the weekend. It was cold and chilly here in Florida (for us anyway) this past weekend so I put a roast in the crock-pot and settled in to my craft room. I found this project on Annette Green's blog and got the "fry box" template off the Creating Keepsakes website, as she suggested. Thanks Annette!! I thought they were so adorable, I just had to try it out. I ended up making 16 of these little cuties. My daughter helped me fill them and tie them up with cellophane and some pretty ribbons. I will take some to my work and some to friends and my daughter even grabbed a few for some of her friends. This template will be a keeper as you could make these out of any kind of paper for any occassion. Hope you enjoy your Monday!

Christmas 1995

This is another page I just did for her album. I don't know what kind the paper is, I received it in a goody bag at a crop one time but I sure do like it. I used a glue pad with my CTMH chocolate alphabet set and created the word Christmas with gold glitter. It turned out pretty cool, I thought.

School Portrait 1995

Here's a page I did for my daughter's album a couple of days ago. I started her albums at birth and am up to age 7. Of course, she's almost 22 years old now so I have a long way to go but am having fun with them. It brings all the memories back as I do each page.

Key West Album

I have finally finished the Key West album. Here are the last of the pages. They turned out so good. I am very pleased with my momento of my 50th birthday celebration.
This is the front cover of the Key West album. It is from CTMH and the closest green I could come up with. I had never done a 9X9 album so that is the size I wanted it to be.
